The Bruins will not trade for Girardi or Byfuglien, the price is going to be too high. They'll wait unit the deadline and go discount shopping, most likely pick up a veteran for depth purposes. |

He was playing like a man posessed about two weeks ago. Nice hot streak. Them he bad a bad defensive game against Columbus and found his way back into the doghouse. They've been going with Gustafsson instead. |

On Girardi...
In a similar, but less crazy way, I still question if the Rangers are really willing to trade Girardi and a source today texted me that the Bruins made "quite a gesture leading me to believe the Rangers are either close to re-signing Girardi, close to dealing him elsewhere, or not interested in moving him at all.
Wow, great insight. |

The Oilers could trade Yakupov, the Oilers could scratch Yakupov or they could play him.
That's EK's Oilers source. |

Yakupov for Callahan.
That would be a good trade for the Oil. |

Your local meteorologist here with the local weather report. For tonight, expect more cloudy skies coming your way with lows in the 20's.
Tomorrow's forecast looks like it may rain, it may snow, or it may do neither.
Back to you guys in the studio. |

I want Callahan to be traded just for the hope it'll provoke another inane Ek rant. |

Great. Buff. Yeah, he can hit, and shoot, but that is all you get. We have enough big, and slow guys. Now we get one that doesn't have any hockey sense; to pinch or not to pinch, or to turn over the puck or not turn over the puck. I really don't see how he helps. Teams still can't decide if he is a D-man or an O-man. Nobody knows how to use him. Chicago gave up, and now the Jets may give up. Do we really need another problem child? Maybe if he can gain a few pounds, we could put him in goal. He would be so big that no pucks could get past him. Don't worry, he will be like Jaba, and just sit there. He wouldn't have to move at all...lol.
Get over it Homer, and stop sniffing around Buff. Nothing is out there right now, and you might as well wait until the playoff teams start looking for rent-a-players if you want to conduct a trade. |
